Sound Installation: Scattered Pieces I installed this piece hoping to make the space that I used inviting for people to walk in, which would trigger the sound. I first thought of having all the sound pieces playing when the "stage" was empty, but I believe it would have had the opposite effect since the sound piece is kind of chaotic when all tracks are playing at once. I noticed that people interacting with the installed work would come close to, or sit down on the floor. I take this as a sign that they were interested in extracting one singular "track" from the composition, hoping to understand the content better when seperating the tracks from each other. Still, they might all make more sense as a collective, but maybe not until you´ve heard the tracks separately.
